Jeff Richardson Do people still fall in love?

Scratch that! The wife and I were walking Arni at the park today and watched as this young couple were laughing, running around and pelting one another with water balloons. Just the two of them. They had dragged this huge water chest out into the center of this big ball field; no beers in there, just filled with water balloons. Having the time of their lives. No one else existed beyond the two of them. They were clean. Strange to say, but that was the art of love.

lyrics

I saw you in that crowded room standing there
what a view, I could swear you were glowing
But you won't be mine forever
and I won't be yours forever
Because nothing lasts forever anymore
and this ain't 1952

I won't hold your hand forever
because we might not belong together
nothing lasts forever anymore
and this ain't 1952
